The Skyscraper

A dance performance loosely inspired by the film “Four Rooms”. In it we look through the keyhole of several apartments in a fashionable skyscraper. We witness a renovation, a party, a spiritualistic session, but also a murder. The dynamic plot told with a cheerful wink of an eye is also a distorted mirror reflecting our society. And everything that will happen will be told exclusively in dance, without the use of a single word.

Apart from using light and shadow available on stage, I’ve decided to incorporate several image degradation techniques, such as light leaks or simulated dust and scratches to further enhance the artist’s emotions during the performance.

I believe that a good event photography should be able not only to tell the event’s story in chronological order but also to extrapolate and enhance it to cover deficiencies that cannot be seen without being an active show participant.
